Coastal Carolina Cutting Boards (CCCB) by The Dean Company is a family business of woodworkers stretching back five generations.  The Dean Family began its involvement in woodworking as manufacturers of veneers and matching hardwoods.  Although we no longer manufacture veneers, The Dean Company manufactures stair treads, moldings, decking, paneling, tabletops, countertops and supply wood to the marine industry.

The cutting board business came about when owner, Tom Dean, made cutting boards for friends as Christmas gifts.  He tested sales by producing and sanding them in his driveway.  He and his then 10-year-old son would sell them on the street corner.  That proved to be a huge success, so we began production in our shop.  That was in 2015.  Today, we manufacture thousands of cutting boards every week and our numbers continue to grow.

Our staff includes Veterans and family members of military (current and retired).  All products are handcrafted and we try not to make any two the same.  We take great pride in making sure our products meet your expectations and hope it shows in our work.

We own two laser engraving machines and a CNC machine.  We can laser engrave your boards with your Company logo or message, add a juice tray, cut out a shape, etc.  There are endless possibilities!  We like to think of it as Effortless Marketing!

We support War Heroes on Water, located in Avalon, CA.  This organization takes our Wounded War Heroes out on the beautiful waters in California to enjoy a day out fishing.  They change and save Veterans' lives!  They build life long relationships, establish new connections on this life-changing adventure.   "The War Heroes Water Tournament is dedicated to honoring our nation's greatest heroes and helping them heal from the emotional and physical wounds of war".  Amazing organization you should check out!  warheroesonwater.com We also support Hope for the Warriors yearly fundraising event in Wallace, NC.  Hope for the Warriors provides assistance to combat wounded service members, their families, and families of those killed in action. The organization focuses on those involved in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom and their families, and we locally support Fallen Outdoors, who take our Veterans out boating and/or hunting.  

​The Fallen Outdoors mission is to organize outdoor adventures for veterans past and present, from every generation and from all branches of the military.  Camaraderie at its finest!
